Puterbaugh heads the Aviara Golf Academy. Kip and his staff of master
instructors; Wayne Searle, Ken Green, Bruce Nakamura, Bob Knee, Ted Norby
and Grant Halverson have combined to form a curriculum that gives students
of all playing abilities a great opportunity to learn about the golf swing.
Kip and his instructors share the same passion for teaching and they take
pride in being able to teach players of all skill levels. The Aviara Golf
Academy has been in operation since 1991. Golf Magazine has chosen us
as one of theTop Golf Schools in the country. We offer the latest in technology
and our instructors are committed to keeping their skills at the highest

The golf swing can
be a confusing subject. Our goal is to get you to understand your swing

or secrets, just the proven fundamentals of the champions of the game,

FACILITY
The
Aviara Golf Academy is located on site at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara Golf Club,
in Carlsbad, California. Our
private teaching facility was designed expressly for teaching golf, including
the latest in technology. The Aviara Golf Academy has covered stalls equipped
with video and audio cameras, grass and matt tees at our range and chipping
and putting areas exclusively for the use of our students.

Aviara Golf Academy operates year round and specializes in two
or three day full day schools, short game schools, playing schools,
A Day At Aviara one day school and private lessons. We can
also customize outings for corporate events and groups of four or more.
